The 2023 Edition
Outaouais Against Cancer will celebrate its 2nd anniversary this year, bringing together hundreds of people who have the fight against cancer at heart and wish to have an impact locally, by investing the funds raised, HERE AT HOME!
The funds raised will support all oncology projects within the CISSS de l'Outaouais, including projects for the screening and treatment of breast cancer.
History - The Union of two great events
Outaouais Against Cancer was born from the union of the Marche en Rose and the Cyclotour Santé Outaouais, two major events with the common goal of fighting cancer.
In 2012, the Foundation created the Marche en Rose Outaouais, a fundraising activity aimed at raising funds to invest in projects and equipment to improve care for patients affected by breast cancer, here in the Outaouais! In its 10 years of existence, the event has raised an incredible $1,093,531 thanks to the efforts of hundreds of participants who have mobilized for this great cause.
In 2014, the Foundation launched the Cyclotour Santé Outaouais, a cycling event that also aims to raise funds in the community in order to reinvest them here at home to improve the care offered to the Outaouais population. Over the past few years, the Cyclotour Santé Outaouais has supported several projects within the CISSS de l'Outaouais by raising close to $1,500,000.
