- Heart anomalies in children are 80 times more common than cancer and 26 times more than cystic fibrosis.
- 30% to 50% of children with heart conditions will need at least one major operation.
- 97% of heart surgeries are successful.
- Heart malformation is the malformation that causes the most deaths in children.
