Let’s Bond is an initiative created in 2011 by a group of young professionals eager to mobilize their community, break the stigma associated with mental illness and promote mental health in the workplace. 100% of sponsorship proceeds and donations are given directly to the Fondation Jeunes en Tête, the Douglas Foundation and other organizations that support and promote mental health.
Let’s Bond aims to accomplish 4 goals:
- Increase Prevention
- Improve Understanding
- Encourage Engagement
The funds collected by the Foundation will be used to sustain the Partners for Life program (PFL), a program who’s objective is to prevent psychological distress and which is offered free of charge to close to 55 000 teenagers every year in Quebec high schools. Designed by health sector experts, PFL’s mission is to promote good mental health among teenagers in grades 7 and 8, as well as to sensitize teenagers 14 years and older to the signs and symptoms of depression and the resources available to them if needed. Furthermore, Fondation Jeunes en Tête supports recognized community organizations that complement their work. (https://www.fondationjeunesentete.org)
