Volunteers we can't do without / Rigaud Optimist Club

The generosity and appreciation demonstrated by the Rigaud Optimist Club towards the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence is clearly well established: in addition to raising $50,000 for the Residence’s Foundation, Richard Servant (former Club President and Co-founder), the Club’s members and community donors have collected $15,000 for the Residence since 2010.

Not surprisingly, the Optimist Club followed suit by helping contribute to the success of the Residence’s Walk. For several years now, we have been able to count on the Club’s members to assist in setting up and taking down equipment for the event. The VSPCR’s mission is all the more important to certain Club members since they personally had loved ones and colleagues who spent their final days here.

The Rigaud Optimist Club, under the presidency of Fanny Servant, is therefore recognized as one of the Walk’s Ambassadors.
