Come walk with us. We’re not inviting you out for a simple stroll. We’re asking you to join us on the way to achieving the mission of the Residence where more than 1 530 families accompanied a loved one on their end-of-life journey. We are asking that you take this first step to open the way for other patients and their families to enjoy the gift of being able to fully and serenely experience their journey at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence.
The 8th edition of the Foundation’s annual walk will be different in two ways. Instead of taking place in the spring, this year’s walk will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 (starting at 8:30 a.m.) at a new location: Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare, located at 2800, chemin Lotbinière in Saint-Lazare. The park has a large parking lot that is easily accessible.
Between 1, 3 or 5 km, you’ll be able to choose the distance that best suits you. Refreshments and food will be sold at the site, and there will be entertaining activities after the walk.

By accepting our invitation, you’ll be achieving two very worthwhile objectives. First of all, you’ll be supporting the Residence. Second, you’ll be treating yourself to an invigorating outdoor exercise experience. In addition, summer will be over (practically if not officially) by September 15. In the fall, nature begins preparing its renewal in which autumn leaves can be viewed, not as a sign of death, but a new beginning in all its splendor.
