Caregiver Retreat 2020 Registration

The Caregiver Retreat (CGR) participants come from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. The following information will help us to better understand who is enrolled in the CGR so that we can continue to develop the retreat and conference to best meet the needs of all participants. Data collected in the following fields will be processed and managed according to the ABLE2’s Privacy Policy which can be found at www.able2.org

Event Terms & Conditions

ABLE2 is offering a low-risk registration policy for this event. Anyone who registers to attend in-person can later switch the registration to virtual attendance. Anyone who registers to attend virtually can also switch to in-person attendance.

Registration Changes
The cut-off date for changes to registration status is September 17th. Registration changes will be processed on a complimentary basis up to 5 PM EST on September 17th. After this date, any changes will be subject to a $50 change fee.

Registration Cancellations
Registration cancellations will be processed at no charge up to September 17th at 5 PM ET. After this date there will be no refunds made available, however the registration may be re-assigned to someone else and in-person attendees can switch to virtual attendance with no financial penalty.

Payments
All fees must be paid in full with a credit card at the time of the registration. Registration fees will be processed online and will appear on your credit card statement as CitizenAdvocacyOttawa

Event Cancellation or Postponement
In the case of this event being cancelled by ABLE2, all registration fees will be temporarily held by ABLE2 until such time a new event date can be announced.

We are committed to providing a safe environment during this event and will be following public health protocols to ensure that any risk associated with COVID-19 is minimized at our caregiver retreat 2020. The specific measures that we are putting in place in partnership with our event venue (Brookstreet Hotel) will be communicated to all attendees prior to the event.  These may include providing hand sanitizer upon entry to the venue, setting up sanitation stations throughout the facility, spacing dining tables further apart in the room, onsite health checks, and posting hygiene tips/reminders.

By checking this box, you are agreeing to not only follow the rules and regulations that we establish to keep people safe, but you also assume the risks associated with attending mass gatherings given the presence of an airborne disease in our communities in 2020. You also agree to refrain from attending the event if you have experienced any symptoms in the days leading up to the event or if you have recently traveled to areas (domestically or internationally) that are designated as high risk. We cannot issue ticket refunds for anyone who is turned away from the event onsite due to potential risk factors associated with COVID-19 or if your ability to attend the event or willingness to attend changes after having purchased an event ticket or table.
